Made with Xara Copyright © 2011 www.charlottewrinch.com  website developed by SCD all rights reserved Press I am a folk/ pop/rock singer-songwriter (there's a mouthful!) living on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, and have been active in the Canadian music industry for several years.  I play acoustic guitar, piano and a collection of recorders and penny whistles.  I perform regularly with various musicians at many of the festivals and live music venues on the coast. My influences are a culmination of exposure to a huge variety of music while growing up (my father was an audiophile and music collector).  The singers I always learn the most from are Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Linda Ronstadt, Joni Mitchell and Joan Armatrading. The musicians I respect are all of the great classical composers, the great jazz men, film composers, and folk writers.  Two of my professional goals are to compose music and lyrics that tell a compelling story; and to look and sound like myself.  Thanks for listening.
